Happy Tails Inn offers Dog Boarding and Day Care for your pooch. Our hours are 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM

We're Glenda and Gerald Hart, the owners of Happy Tails Inn, and we love dogs!  We have three dogs of our own and have researched and designed a boarding facility that we believe will please you and your dog(s).  Our boarding kennel consists of 20 private indoor/outdoor dog runs complete with heating and air conditioning.  The kennel and playground area are secured with a 6 foot high fence and we have four acres of land to walk, exercise and play on.  We invite you to come and visit.

 For your convenience, reservations for Boarding and Day Care are accepted.  Make your reservations as far in advance as possible because holidays and weekends fill up quickly. Please call our office at 580-775-1789  for current available dates.

 The following are things you need to know prior to your dog's first stay:

 Dogs can be dropped off anytime during business hours or by appointment on any day.  However, we suggest you drop off your dog or dogs as early as possible so they can be acclimated to their new surroundings before mealtime and bedtime. You may pick your dogs up anytime but if it is going to be later than 5:00 PM please call.

All dogs must have current vaccination records on file with us. This includes Rabies within three years, DHPP and Bordatella (to prevent Canine Cough) annually.   If your veterinarian's recommendation for vaccinations differ from our requirements, please follow your vet's advice, and send a note from the vet stating any changes.

 During the warmer months all dogs are required to be on flea prevention such as Program, Sentinel, Frontline, Advantage, or Revolution. Tick prevention is highly recommended. 

 Bringing your dog's own food is optional but we are happy to feed our Science Diet.  Each dog run has an automatic feeder so we will fill this according to your instructions.

 We will give medication to your dog at no extra charge. All medication must come in a clearly marked container with the following information:
- Dog's Name
- Name of Medication and strength
- Dosage per day or if needed (let us know at drop off what doses have already been given that day) - - Reason for medication

Beds, blankets, toys and chews are welcome. If you do bring a bed, please let us know if you do not want it washed just in case there arises the need.

Please let us know if your dog may be aggressive towards other dogs or us so that we can take the proper precautions.  Also, alert us if your dog is a climber, jumper or a runner if the opportunity should arise for an escape. 

Just a Note:  We've learned with our dogs that packing our suitcases in front them causes them to stress because they associate suitcases with us leaving them.

DAY CARE DOGS:  We have limited space in the kennel and dogs with boarding reservations have first priority to runs.   It is possible to make recurring day care reservations.
